5/2/2023 0 Comments Thor ragnarok movieshare![]() Given her absence in the film, Sif is still alive, unlike the Warriors Three who were killed off in Ragnarok. Sif does appear in Thor: Ragnarok but as a character in Loki’s play of the events in The Dark World, and was played by Charlotte Nicdao. However, due to scheduling conflicts with the TV series Blindspot, she was unable to appear. Sif had appeared in the previous Thor films and was said to be a “very pivotal part” of Ragnarok, with Jamie Alexander set to reprise her role. What Waititi added was some much needed humor and a new take on Thor, who was considered by many fans the weakest (and plainest) link in the team.Ī big absence in Thor: Ragnarok was Lady Sif, played by Jamie Alexander. Loki was still alive and posing as Odin in Asgard, as seen at the end of Thor: The Dark World, and the film also showed what happened to Bruce Banner/Hulk after flying away in a Quinjet at the end of Age of Ultron. Still, Thor: Ragnarok did keep some connections to its predecessor – after all, it’s a connected universe. This would have been explored in Thor: Ragnarok, but Waititi wanted to make it a standalone film, adding that they were “ in a way, kind of dismantling and destroying the old idea and rebuilding it in a new way that’s fresh” and that everyone had a “ slightly new take on their characters, so in that way, it feels like the first Thor” (via EW). ![]() Prior to his return in Thor: Ragnarok, the last time viewers saw Thor was in Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he left Earth to learn more about the infinity stones and their reemergence after the vision he had at the cave. More freedom meant that a mind like Waititi could arrive and make the third Thor film his, making some big (but positive) changes to the original Thor: Ragnarok. This separation benefited Marvel, which went on to produce some of its best films, many of them with very different tones (and addressing many more topics) than the first ones. ![]() The reasons behind the split have already been revealed by Disney CEO Bob Iger, and it all came down to Ike Perlmutter not leaving much creative freedom to Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios. Thor: Ragnarok was in development at the same time Marvel was going through a major transition, one that separated Marvel Studios from Marvel Entertainment. Related: Taika Waititi Is Now In As Many DC Movies As Marvel Taika Waititi’s involvement completely changed what the film was going to look like, adding humor to it and with that changing the tone the studio was originally going for. The original concept for Thor: Ragnarok was much darker, and at some point was teased to be the darkest Marvel script, which doesn’t fit the final product at all. Like with any other big budget film, Thor: Ragnarok went through an extensive pre-production process, which included many rewrites and ideas being left out in favor of better ones. ![]() 5/2/2023 0 Comments Redhand twilight of the gods![]() ![]() ![]() Finally, Horace is also able to see much better than a normal human in the dark, practically allowing him to see as well as he does during the day even at night. Another thing i don't agree with is the part where you say spritzee is the only fairy type of the tier when we literally have Cottonee around, which yes, have a very different role and doesn't hit as hard from the lack of moonblast, but Cottonee offers as much if not more utility than Spritzee does and does it for a larger range of team archetypes yet i wouldn't say Cottonee is tier 2 worth it. Spritzee is very tanky yes but the resistances it has won't stop it from getting hard chipped everytime it tries to set TR. And then another point that i tend to use when i think of tier 2 pokemons is how much checks/counters it has and how many pokemons it checks/counter and the answer tbf is rather low. Spritzee better or worse at it (obviusly is the best at it) only works in trick rooms teams as a setter for the most of it. ![]() When i think of tier 2 pokemon i think of pokemon that have success with pretty much no help at all which already makes spritzee not fit the definition. Click to expand.I will commence saying that we may have gone a bit far on dropping spritzee to tier 4 (god voltix is gonna laugh at me so hard when he reads this) but previous to the tour, trick room was close to none seen. ![]() 5/1/2023 0 Comments Mahjong rules![]() ![]() Chinese movies have always included scenes of mahjong games. TLDR: This principle is confusing and barely affects scoring.Įach scoring rule gives points depending on how challenging it is to get a hand that satisfies that rule. Since this is extremely confusing and doesn't affect gameplay in 99.99% of cases, we will use the above interpretation. This would mean that the order in which you declare scoring rules affects the final scoring. Some other sources online quote a different interpretation of the exclusionary rule that prevents used groups from being combined with other used groups, even if they have both only been used once. The limitation of using each group a certain number of times only applies in niche situations with Chows that change the number of points by 1 or 2. This a controversial "principle" as it is extremely confusing and unintuitive.do not use any groups as they limit the possible groups instead.
